London Fashion Weekend - D4DISCUS will be at Nariva Boutique Stand! -

London Fashion Weekend September last year, we had a wonderful time exhibiting on a stand in the Vintage Boutique area created by Wayne Hemingway.

As this was our first show at London Fashion Weekend, we wasn't sure if it would be a suitable show for us and didn't really know what type of customer are they going to be. It was challenge for us to make it happen!

We made sure the boutique stand looks beautiful, tidy, present co-ordinates of my vintage inspired clothes and Nariva's gorgeous retro bags. My 1960's style Peter Pan collar dress, snood made by silk vintage scarf, 1980's bold bright print blouse... with Nariva's crocodile hand bag, snake skin satchel, 1960's vintage astrakhan long coat... they are always goes well.

I also enjoyed seeing very fashionable customers, they look like models. Maybe they are! So well stand out when they did try on my clothes!

The Big Day Out will take place at Pleasance Theatre Mews on Saturday 16th July 2011 . Throughout the day from 11am to 11pm, there will be loads of free events, shows, music and workshops, as well as ECO BAZAAR and the Big Day Out Barbeque. There’s something to entertain the whole family in this huge one-day event, there is a jam packed programme of activities, so we’re expecting a big crowd! The festival will be opened by the major of Islington.

All the sales will donate to British Red Cross Japan tsunami appeal.

Many of us live far from our home still worry about those massive damages of tsunami.
It takes months and years to build back up and for those people lost family and friends I don't know how long does it take to recover.
...Our help is small but we want to do something for them to recover from this devastating natural disaster.
